System and User Support
The Systems and User Support program is designed to train students to be knowledgeable in supporting users and applications software, resolving issues that involve interaction between the end user and server platforms, as well as the network itself. The curriculum emphasizes the skills necessary to solve user issues whether they arise from the client operating system, applications software, the server, the network infrastructure, or the Active Directory. Graduates of this program will have a basic level of knowledge and skills to support end user environments. With a firm grasp of knowledge and skills required to troubleshoot networks, applications, servers, and provide basic user support, graduates are prepared to seek entry-level careers as part of a helpdesk team, focused on desktop, user and network support.
